A Microsoft or Google failure message indicates that multiple records (different MIS IDs) are identified when trying to match accounts (depending on settings this could be in LDAP or SIMS).
This is most likely to happen when an employee/parents have been added on SIMS as two separate accounts (different MID IDs), but with the same email address. If this is the case, the employee or parent record should be modified to have a personal email address rather than then a school email address.
A cache rebuild is required to complete the change once it has been made. This must be done before the user will be able to log in. To run a cache manually, see the following guide.
