When the message ‘Login Failed: Your account password has expired. (Code 532)’ appears, it indicates that the user’s password has expired in the Active Directory (AD). This is because your school is using LDAP accounts, Edulink One uses your school login credentials (school usernames and passwords that have been configured at school) so that learners/ staff don’t need to know too many passwords.
To resolve this issue, the user should log in to a school machine where they will be prompted for a new password. Where possible, it might be beneficial to ensure usernames and passwords are updated before the school holidays as it will not be possible to update usernames and passwords from home.
Staff may be able to update passwords if you are using a VPN, but it will impact learners if their school password expires while on holiday.
