If a parent doesn’t have an Edulink One account or they had an account and have disappeared, this is down to a few factors.
Parents must have an association with their child and no court order in order to have an account. If they originally had an account, but then have a court order against them inputted into SIMS, Edulink One will remove their account after a cache.
The following is a checklist that will help you determine if a parent should have an account:
- The parent must have an association with their child.
- They must have Parental Responsibility.
- They must NOT have a court order.
If the following criteria are met, then Edulink One will create a parent account. If any of the following does not apply, then an account won’t be created or it will be removed.
Please see the Login Tab and Communicator Tab for more on logins and configuration, including information about court orders and parental responsibility.
