School’s Active Directory unable to communicate with Your LDAP server

If you are a parent or student and you see this message, contact your school so they can escalate this to the IT Service.

If you have the message, ‘School’s Active Directory can’t authenticate you because unable to communicate with your LDAP server‘, it means that the Edulink SIMS Agent is unable to connect to your Active Directory server (AD).

This happens if the Agent is unable to connect to the Active Directory server specified in the agent settings— this could be a misconfiguration or, potentially, a reboot of the Active Directory server.

Check your configuration for your LDAP server. You can follow the instructions for the installation of the Edulink SIMS Agent to help.
