SEN managers configured in the administration settings under the ‘General’ tab can view SEN functionality and add and delete strategies for learners in Edulink One. To add a SEN manager, please see Setting Up the General Tab.
Log in to Edulink One and click on the Learners icon to search for a learner.

You can use the search bar to type in a learner’s name or use the fields to help narrow down your search.

Once you have selected a learner, click on the SEN icon to view the information and record strategies.

SEN Managers can add strategies to help teachers plan for the needs of the SEN student. Conversely, they can also delete strategies when they are no longer relevant by clicking the bin icon. To add a strategy, the manager must click on the + icon.

In the strategies window, you must add the title of the need or strategy and then a description of the strategy. Once finished, click Add, and the table will be updated with the new SEN strategy.

Enable Exam Access Arrangements (SIMS and Arbor ONLY)
To turn on exam access arrangements, go to the General tab in the administration settings.
Exam access arrangements are visible in the SEN icon (visible to employees through your Learners icon) or class register tags.

Any exam access arrangements will appear in the SEN information. These are pulled from your MIS or Exams Assist.

Adding SEN Notes (iSAMS only)
You can add SEN notes to Edulink One by going to the Documents tab in the administration settings and scrolling to the Document Uploads area.
Create a new name for your documents.

Next, set your document type to SEN Note.

Then, select the format you would like for the document upload. For iSAMS exports, please see Uploading iSAMS Document Imports into Edulink One Documents. You can also upload documents from other sources using the student name + form file format. Please note that the file names must be written with the student’s name and form exactly as they appear in the MIS.

Drag and drop the file to upload the document.

If you are successful, the document appears in the list. The document will also appear in the Documents and SEN area of Edulink One, if enabled.
