Enabling, Managing and Viewing Moments in Edulink One

Edulink One Moments allows you to upload images, videos and add text to a student’s ‘wall’, allowing schools to share special moments with parents and students alike.

To enable this setting, go to the General tab in the administration settings and select the users from the list. This allows these users to view Moments only.

You can also create fixed user groups and enable them for Moments as well.

Viewing Moments

If you are a parent or a learner, select the Moments icon to view uploaded content.

Teachers or employees can view moments through Learners. Select the student you would like to view and select their Moments icon. This may be located in ‘More’.

Parents, Learners or staff will be able to view and scroll through video, images or text that has been uploaded by staff members to Moments. There is no facility to comment, download or like.

Adding Moments to Students (Employees only)

Employees can upload video files, image files or other files and write text for Moments in the Register.

Select the register and the student for whom you would like to add the Moment.

In the Moments screen, you can elaborate on a moment by adding text, and you can add attachments and upload files for parents and students to view.

You can add other learners to a moment from outside a lesson by selecting the + icon.

Select the learners and click ‘Add’. The moment will also be added to their walls.

Click ‘Save’ to publish the text or files to Moments. They are now visible to parents and learners directly in Moments; however, staff must view these through ‘Learners’.
