To see if more than one member of a pupil’s family has logged in, go to the Login Tab in the administration settings > Load User Accounts. Next, type ‘Parent’ in the user type filter.

Scroll to the bottom and change the [Please Select] filter to ‘Export Filtered’ and then click ‘Export’.

Once the file has been downloaded, open it in Excel and expand the columns to see the data. Select Data > Filter and highlight column L.

Next, go to the Home tab and add Conditional Formatting> Highlight Cell Rules> Duplicate Values. Select a colour you would like and click OK. The duplicates will be highlighted.

Then, add a filter to column P and select ‘Never’. This shows the parents who haven’t logged in.

Lastly, add an A-Z ‘Sort’ on column L to ensure the children are in alphabetical order.

Parent Data Meaning
- The names highlighted where there is more than one entry mean either both parents have never logged in, or there is a SIMS Data error and the Parent has two accounts.
- The names not highlighted could be a single-parent family.
- The names highlighted with only one entry showing mean the other parent has logged into Edulink.
- Also from this list, you will be able to see the parents who don’t have an email address ( a reason why they may have not logged on).
