An unauthorised user can’t view other students’ data. Only employees with the correct permissions can view student data.
In our experience, this is because they have clicked on the Demo button under the login details, thinking they have logged in. This is just our demo site with fictional teachers/students/parents.
If a parent or child has allowed another student to log in to Edulink One with their mobile device(s), you may find they receive notifications for that user. This is because Edulink logs a token when a user signs into a mobile device for push notifications. If a parent or student is experiencing this, please contact Overnet Data and we can help delete the token(s).
It is ideal if users do not allow others to log in to Edulink One on their devices to prevent this.
